About Me

This is Ms. Goebel’s second year teaching for Mayville schools but her 11th year teaching altogether. She was the previous band director for Bridgeport-Spaulding Schools in Saginaw, MI. She is originally from Clarkston, MI. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with her Bachelor’s of Music Education Degree, and she completed her Masters Degree in Music Education from Kent State University. Ms. Goebel continues to better herself as a musician and do what she fell in love with regarding music: playing her French horn! She is a member of the Saginaw Classic Legacy Band and the Southeastern Michigan Wind Ensemble. When she isn’t doing something music related, Ms. Goebel enjoys reading, gardening, watching TV and movies, and spending time with her 2 dogs and 3 cats.
