Coaching Staff

Head Coach Chris McMillen

Coach McMillen brings a wealth of experience from his time assistant coaching at Stanberry for over a decade. He has won state championships as an assistant football coach and assistant basketball coach for the Bulldogs. This is Coach McMillen's 3rd full season at the helm. In the 2022-2023 season his Wolverine squad won 22 games which was the most in 30 seasons for Maysville. Coach McMillen also serves as the head football coach and a math instructor at school.

Assistant Coach - Lily Osborn

Coach Osborn enters her first year as an assistant for the Wolverine Basketball team. Osborn brings her own experiences as a player at Stanberry and NCMC. She works at BTC Bank.

Assistant Coach - KEaton Nelson

Coach Nelson joined the coaching staff at Maysville this year. He previously helped as a coach in the Osborn-Stewartsville co-op. Nelson is the Junior High Boys Basketball coach for Maysville. Coach Nelson is a student at Missouri Western and works at Hillyards.

Assistant Coach - Zach Heintz

Coach Heintz has moved from player to the coaching staff at Maysville. A graduate of 2022 and former player of Coach McMillen, Coach Heintz is the perfect fit to help the boys reach their success on the hardwood. Heintz is currently a student at NCMC, where he eventually plans to pursue a degree in Math Education.

Athletic Trainer Makenna Veale

Makenna comes to Maysville through a partnership with the Cameron Regional Medical Center, who serves as our "Official Health Care Partner of Sports Medicine Services." She is in charge of administering Athletic Training and Concussion Management services to students-athletes of Maysville.
