Kenny was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Texas Tech University, and received his legal education from Texas Tech University School of Law. He was admitted to the Texas Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas in 1986.

Aubra is a Sweetwater native who attended Texas Tech University and earned a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Legal Studies, graduating summa cum laude. She then received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence form the Texas Tech University School of Law.
Aubra joined the team in 2017, and practices primarily in Sweetwater and the surrounding areas.
