Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation is a middle-grade novel written by Stuart Gibbs. Stuart is a New York Times bestselling author of five middle-grade series: Spy School, FunJungle, Charlie Thorne, Moon Base Alpha, and The Last Musketeer.
Charlie Thorne and the Last Equation is on the Golden Dome Book Award nominees list for 2020-2021 and was published on September 17, 2019. The book has lots of good reviews, one of them being “Fast-paced, smart, and action-packed...a real page-burner.” —Chris Grabenstein, #1 New York Times bestselling author.
On the front page it says, “In a breakneck adventure that spans the globe, Charlie must crack a complex code created by Einstein himself, struggle to survive in a world where no one can be trusted, and fight to keep the last equation safe once and for all.”
The second book, Charlie Thorne and the Lost City was published about a month ago, on May 2nd of 2021 and it is 384 pages long. In the book Charlie is trying to find a secret hidden by Charles Darwin in the 1800s, there are many dangers and Charlie must take many risks to find one of the greatest discoveries in human history.
Both books are very well written and are both in the school library.
