Weekly Comprehension & Vocab

Every section (Parts 1-6) should take you roughly a week to complete, including reading the assigned chapters/listening along and doing the weekly comprehension and vocabulary checks linked below. It is recommended that you read the chapter and then do the quiz immediately following. You may use your book to help you answer the questions or you can challenge yourself to do it without using the book. Pick what works for you!

NOTE | When you submit the quizzes and view your score, questions for which you typed an answer versus picking one from a list will be marked wrong. Do not worry! These will be hand-scored, which means that Mrs. Gagner will look at them separately to see if they are correct. This will happen during your weekly meetings :)

Before you get started, create a new Google Doc called Name's Restart Vocab (put your name where it says name). Every week, any vocabulary words you do not get correct in that portion of the assignment need to be added to your doc with a definition that you understand and the word used properly in a sentence that shows that you know what it means. Here is a model that you can copy if you want to. This will help you prepare for our epic Quizlet challenge!
