Meet our Faculty!

Catrina DiNapoli, Asst. Superintendent, VES Leadership Team

Catrina DiNapoli has worked for MAUSD since 2009, first as Principal at Bristol Elementary School and now as the Assistant Superintendent for the district. An educator since 1992, Catrina has worn many hats - elementary teacher, school musical director, educational assistant, assistant principal, summer program director - with a forever passion and commitment to supporting learners of all ages. Catrina and her husband have two children who are MCS and Mt. Abe graduates and has lived in Monkton since 1999.

Kimberly Audette, Mathematics Coordinator, VES Leadership Team

Kimberly Audette joins MAUSD this year with over 24 years of experience in education. Kim has been a classroom educator working in classrooms from 6th grade through college level in the area of mathematics. In addition she has over 7 years of experience as a districtwide instructional leader. Fueled by the mission of quality education for all, Kim is thrilled to be part of the instructional leadership team at MAUSD. Kim and her family reside in Williston Vermont.

Sheena Strada, Literacy Coordinator, VES Leadership Team

Sheena Strada has worked as MAUSD's curriculum coordinator in literacy since 2017. She previously taught English to students in grades 7-12. Sheena fell in love with literacy instruction while volunteering with America Reads during college and added education to her English major as a result, a decision that changed her life for the better. After seven years as a classroom teacher, Sheena moved to literacy coaching, and from literacy coaching to coordination upon accepting this position with MAUSD.

Sue Bachand, K, 5/6 Mathematics

Sue Bachand is the math instructional coach at Lincoln Community School and Robinson Elementary School. She has been in public education since 1999 and in this district for six years. Sue lives in Vergennes, Vt with her husband. They have two adult children; one lives with her husband in NH, the other works in the Charleston, SC area. Sue has a BS in K-6 and completed her master’s in mathematics in 2012. She enjoys sharing her love of math and ensuring that students are prepared for success in the future.

Jill Bove, K-2 Literacy

Jill Bove is the K-2 Literacy Coach for MAUSD. Jill has 20 years experience teaching at the K-2 level and recently moved to Vermont from New Jersey. Her husband, Mike, and Jill have a daughter at UVM, a daughter at St. Mike’s and a daughter who is currently traveling the world! She is excited to be here to share her knowledge and passion for literacy.

Elizabeth Grunberg, 3/4 Mathematics

Elizabeth Grunberg joined the MAUSD family in 2019. She grew up in Shelburne, Vermont and received a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. She then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. This is her seventh year working in education. While in Florida, she taught 1st , 2nd , and 3rd grade. She moved back to Vermont to take the math coach position at MAUSD and couldn’t be more thrilled! She loves hiking, traveling, and live music.

Anne McKinney, 3/4 Literacy

Anne McKinney is the 3-6 grade Literacy Coach for MAUSD. Anne joined MAUSD two years ago as the K-6 Literacy Coach at Bristol Elementary. Anne attended both UVM and St. Michael’s College. She taught on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. During her years as a classroom teacher Anne taught preschool, preK, first, third and fourth grades. When she is not at school, Anne is usually Mt. biking or skiing with her husband and two children.

Rachel O'Sullivan, 5/6 Literacy

Rachel O'Sullivan has been teaching at Monkton Central School for the past three years and is excited about working together! She moved to Vermont almost eight years ago with her husband and two children, ages 8 and 9. Rachel lives in Burlington with her 10 month old golden retriever and three year-old lab mix. She enjoys walking or biking to the lake, playing outside, reading, or playing with our puppies. Rachel loves teaching fifth and sixth grades and enjoys integrating multiple subjects into one unit. She celebrates each child's uniqueness and and love to find ways to spark each child's love of learning!

Annsunee Swift, 1/2 Mathematics

Annsunee Swift is the instructional math coach at BES. She has been living in Vermont since 1996. Her learning journey after high school began with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Castleton University (CU). In 2016, she obtained her Master's Degree in Education from the University of Vermont (UVM) with the Vermont Mathematics Initiative program (VMI). She has held many roles in education such as a classroom teacher, interventionist, reading tutor, teacher assistant, and recently she served as an interim principal. For more than 20 years, she educated children in Rutland city and the surrounding areas before making a big move to MAUSD in 2017. She is happy to become a part of the BES family! Annsunee and her husband have two amazing daughters who bring so much joy. She recently relocated to Monkton and is excited to explore Addison County!
