This course will use life’s experiences as a source for your writing and will help you to bring them alive so that readers will want to keep reading. During the day, you will write a number of pieces and be given feedback and advice on how they might be extended or improved. Max 8 participants.

Whether you are already working on a project, want to start something new, or simply want to try writing for the first time, you will receive guidance and feedback in a supportive, constructive workshop atmosphere. You will have plenty of time to write while enjoying the delights of an Italian early summer. The course is run in a privately owned boutique hotel with amazing food and local wines, and includes a day-long 'Taste of Le Marche' tour.

This course looks at how to approach writing a novel, structure story and address problems associated with writing novels. It will include a number of exercises aimed at clarifying your ideas and tightening your story.

This flash fiction course explores language in all its guts and glory, focussing on unique images, concision versus specificity and how to create original tone.
