About Matt Hatton

Matt is an experienced freelance graphic designer who has worked with a number of schools to produce key publications for print and for websites. Matt works closely with each school to ensure that they end up with a product they are proud of and reflects their school. Schools provide the copy (text) and photos and Matt works his magic to turn it into great design.

Mindful of tight school budgets, Matt's work is value for money and once a customer, updates for future years can be minimal and cost-effective.

Prospectus/Brochures

Most schools have a prospectus or brochure to showcase their school to prospective parents. A well designed brochure can help secure applications and therefore funding for schools.

The brochure may just be an e-copy for your website or you could opt to have them printed.

Parent Handbook

Whilst your prospectus is what sells a school, you may wish to develop a Parent Handbook for the day to day information, policy and procedures. This helps to ensure good communication for everyone so that arrangements and expectations are clear.

Once designed and created it can be updated annually for a small charge. Again this could be an e-copy for online or you may opt to print copies for new parents as part of their welcome pack.

Term Date Postcards

Publish your term dates to parents so they all get a postcard to put on the fridge!

Parents love these from the feedback we received. It's part of your attendance strategy, so everyone is clear when children should attend school.

On the front have an image and key contact details and on the back the calendar for the year ahead.

These are all bespoke to your requirements.

Logo Design

All schools have logos and some may need a fresh update or a new one altogether. Provide Matt with your ideas, needs and wishes and he will design you some concepts to consider. Once you have settled on a design it can be then created and finalised ready to use on your website and on your school literature.
