Everyone is invited to take control of our weekly meetings and help generate content to share with our group! If you are interested...
Talk with our leadership group about when you might be able to lead a huddle.
Use the activities from the FCA Bible or come up with your own ideas about what you might want to talk about.
For example, topics might include a Christian perspective on teamwork, integrity, friendship, responsibility, and anything that is relevant to the spiritual life of athletes at our high school.
Create a plan of how you want to present your information.
You could create a note sheet just for yourself, a presentation to share with the group, a video that you found to reinforce your ideas, etc.
If you wish, you can ask our leadership team to add your presentation to the "Content" page so your peers can access it online.
Make sure to include some of the following elements...
An interactive activity such as discussion questions, an icebreaker game, or a short activity prompt.
Bible verses that relate to what your saying and connect your ideas to scripture.
Key points about your topic that you want people to reflect on.
Any necessary quotes, book excepts, video clips, or fun facts that might add to your ideas
A challenge for people to think about as they go through their week trying to live out what they've learned
Share your plan with our leadership group and work through it with us in order to create the best possible experience for everyone.
You don't have to lead all by yourself! Leaders rely on each other for support, so don't be shy to ask a friend to help you! Leading FCA as a group project is a great way to bring the conversation of faith into your social circle and learn about what your friends believe. Our leadership would be glad to help you as well!
