Dr. Miller specializes in biomechanics, mathematical modeling, and computational fluid dynamics. She leads the Systems Biomechanics of the Horse project, using Equi-Pro® and high-speed video to analyze gait asymmetries and movement patterns. Her work combines experimental data, computational models, and collaborations with equine professionals to improve understanding of equine locomotion, rehabilitation, and performance.

Bernadette Genua specializes in equine biomechanics, training, and management. As the founder of Metal Equus, she combines scientific research with hands-on horsemanship to improve equine performance and welfare. She also serves as the Trainer/Research Manager at Al-Marah Equine Center, working closely with researchers, students, and equine professionals to advance data-driven approaches to horse movement and rehabilitation.
