I’m an algebraic topologist and a CINVESTAV Researcher 2-C in Mexico City.

I received my PhD from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2017 under the supervision of Alejandro Adem. I've had postdoctoral positions at CIMAT, UNAM Mathematics Institute, the University of Copenhagen, and Indiana University Indianapolis.

I’m particularly interested in spaces of commuting elements in Lie groups and its interactions with classifying spaces and partially ordered sets of cosets. Recently I've been working on the spatiality problem on tt-categories in the context of tensor triangulated geometry.
