Welcome to the Dynamic Mode Decomposition Reading Group!
We are a group of interdisciplinary faculty, postdocs, and graduate students at the University of Arizona, broadly interested in theory and algorithms for data-driven model reduction. Our initial task for the Spring 2022 semester is to study the "Dynamic Mode Decomposition" algorithm. We also plan to discuss applications of DMD, both old and new, in areas as diverse as fluid mechanics, power systems, and quantitative biology. Throughout the course of the semester, we will collaborate extensively with related groups. We are affiliated with the university's NSF RTG in Data-Driven Discovery.
