About Me

My name is Maria Deliyianni (pronouns she/her/hers). I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona. I am currently working under the mentorship of Shankar Venkataramani and Christopher Henderson. 

I received my doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, under the advice of Justin Webster. Before that, I received my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cyprus. You can find my CV here. 

In my free time, I love to read (my favorite author is Stefan Zweig), try different cuisines (with a strong preference for spicy food), and lift heavy things.
