Baby Caterpillars
April 5th - Meet our 5 new baby caterpillars! They had quite a trek to get here - early delivery with school closed, so Mrs. Roll had to pick them up at the UPS facility.
Mighty Eagle's New Friends
April 5th - Mrs. Roll brought them to Room 1 and Mighty Eagle will watch them until we all return on the 8th.
Naming our Caterpillars
Drum roll, please 🥁 ... By popular vote, our caterpillars are named:

April 9th
Ava - They are black.
Archer - They have bumps on their skin.
Ella - They are crawling in their food.
Summer - 3 of them are crawling up the cup.
Quin - When they walk, they make their backs bumpy (up and down).
April 10th
Ford - They are moving a little quickly.
Sebastian - All 5 of them are climbing on the sides of the cup.
Reagan - One is shaped as a rainbow.
Addy - They are shedding some of their skin as they grow.
Josie - One is lighter brown.
They are a little over 1.5 cm long!
April 11th
Leighton - When they are moving, their body is wiggling up and down.
Fredrick - They are big! 2 cm!!
Gigi - They have little tiny legs.
Micah - They are flexible.
Delia - One is really short and skinny and one is big and fat.
April 12th
Mighty Eagle was keeping a close eyes on our caterpillar friends.
April 15th
Easton - They are big and fat!
Lily W- They are 3 cm long.
Mateo - They are moving slowly except for one.
Bodhi - They are gripping the sides with their feet.
ALL - One just fell down to the bottom of the cup!
April 16th
Lily B - One is really big and one is shorter.
Reagan - One has half of a heart shape (making a J).
Quin - They are getting bigger. They are between 3 1/2 and 4 cm long!
Ella - One of them is hanging upside down.
Summer - They are really spiky looking.
April 17th
Archer - They are eating a lot and growing really big!
Micah - They are 4 cm long now.
Josie - They are pooping a lot.
Fredrick - One is shaped like an L.
Lily W. - All 5 are up towards the top!
April 18th
Easton - They are all 4 cm long now.
Sebastian - They are growing by eating lots of food.
Leighton - One is moving at the top.
Quin - The food area is bumpy now.
Mrs. Roll - There is a lot of white webbing inside and they look like they are getting too big to be in the cup1
