March 23rd
Our five little caterpillars!
We can't wait to watch our new class pets as they change through metamorphosis!
The students gave wonderful name suggestions and the top 5 names were: 67, Rosie, Cookie, Charlotte, and Bennett.
March 20th-March 24th
These guys are getting bigger every day!
March 30th
All of our caterpillars have reached the top of the cup! Cookie was our last caterpillar to hang and turn into the J shape-we think it's because he was the hungriest and he was spending his last few days eating!
April 2nd
Each caterpillar has made his/her own chrysalis! We think Bennett was the first one because he is fast and he wants to be first a lot! We can't wait to see these guys emerge!
April 12th
On the last day of Spring Break, all of these beauties emerged! I'm sad they couldn't wait one more day until school started up again, but the students were so excited anyway!
