Dual credit programs provide an incredible opportunity for high school students, starting in 11th and 12th grades, to begin their college journey while completing high school. Through this initiative, students can earn up to 60 college credits, potentially culminating in an Associate's Degree by the time they graduate high school. These courses serve a dual purpose, often fulfilling both high school graduation requirements and elective credits. At Mater Academy, a three-credit college course equates to one full high school credit (1.0 unit). To further support students and their families, Mater Academy covers the tuition costs for these college courses, making this advanced academic pathway both accessible and affordable.
