February 17, 2023 Orange County Area Athletic Directors and Principals will receive a draft of 2024-2026 Releaguing Bylaws.
Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 2:00 p.m. Optional Meeting for questions regarding Releaguing Protocol, Procedures, and Bylaws. Virtual Meeting
Monday, March 13, 2023, 9:00 a.m. (Virtual Meeting)
o Principals will digitally (electronically) ratify 2020-2022 Releaguing Bylaws
Monday, April 3, 2023, 11:59 p.m.
o Last day for School Profile and Area Placement Questionnaire (RELIEF requests) to be completed and turned in to Joel Hartmann (jhartmann@materdei.org)
Friday April 14, 2023,11:59pm
o Schools requesting relief or new to area placement must submit a New League proposal to Joel Hartmann (jhartmann@materdei.org)
Monday, April 24, 2023, 9:30 a.m. Diocese of Orange
o Athletic Directors will meet and discuss “RELIEF” proposal presentations.
o Discuss and create solution(s)
o Create no more than three proposals
o Refer to approved 2022-2024 Releaguing Bylaws for more information
Friday, May 5, 2023, 11:59pm
o Proposals are due from only Member school Principals seeking relief, New School Principals, and any League/Conference
Monday, May 15, 2023, 9:00 a.m. Diocese of Orange
o Review and discuss Proposal from A.D. Meeting
o Review and discuss New Proposals created by leagues (principals)
o Vote proposals down to one recommended 2022-2042 CIF SS Proposal
o Refer to Bylaws for more information
