Students fill out their assignment books every day. It is their responsibility to get parents to sign their assignment books each night. If you are wondering what has been assigned, check the document linked here.
Homework rules:
Students should attempt to complete their homework each night.
Student should not spend hours on one single homework assignment. If they get stuck, set a timer for 15 - 20 minutes and once the timer goes off, stop working. Students can come see the respective teacher the next morning to ask for help. Feel free to reach out via email or write a note in their assignment book to communicate how your child is doing at home and if additional support is needed.
Every Evening:
Please look at the assignment book and sign the day's page every night.
Students should be able to show you completed work from their folders. Verify that work is done before signing your student's assignment book.
On Fridays:
Check your student's purple folder for completed work. We recomend doing this with your child so they can answer questions.
Sign the folder once you have review the work Inside It and place It back In your child's backpack to return to school on Monday.
