More about Mr. Gray
Email: jgray@materchristischool.net
Originally from the West Coast, I have lived all over the U.S and the U.K. I liked school so much that I stayed in it until I was 28, ending with a PhD in Early Modern European History from Stanford University. Upon graduating I taught Church History at Virginia Theological Seminary and Religion at Middlebury College. Then I discovered my true passion: kids. I became a stay-at-home Dad for seven years. Three years ago I re-entered the teaching profession, this time in elementary education.
I am married to a gorgeous sporty adventure gal, and I have three kids, all of whom still laugh at my jokes.
In my free time, I like skiing, hiking, camping, scuba-diving, and watching the Seattle Seahawks win.
Faith is also an integral part of my identity, and I worship at Jericho Congregational Church.
