EMERGENCY GRANT:
The MATC Student Emergency Assistance Grant program, formerly known as the MATC Dreamkeepers Emergency Financial Assistance Grant, provides financial help (usually less than $500) to students who are experiencing an unexpected, unlikely to reoccur event that has caused a financial strain and who have no other resources available.

CHECOTA SCHOLARSHIP:
The Ellen and Joe Checota MATC Scholarship Program provides students the chance to accelerate careers. This full-ride scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers so students can earn their technical diploma or certificate and advance in careers faster.

FOOD PANTRIES ON CAMPUS
Students just need to bring their student ID card to receive free, prepared meals to heat for lunch and dinner. Students also can select essential foods, beverages and snacks to bring home, which are donated by Feeding America and presented in a market-style shopping experience.
MATC HEALTH & WELLNESS
MATC’s Health and Wellness team offers a variety of resources to support student health education and promote self-care. We assist with personal health promotion activities, basic health and personal needs, and provide referral services to outside healthcare providers as needed.
PERSONAL COUNSELING (CAPS)
We understand that being a college student can be both exciting and overwhelming. When you need additional support, MATC has multiple mental health support options to help you work through whatever challenges you may be facing. All services are confidential and offered at no cost to students.
STUDENT RESOURCE CENTER
Student Resource Center is here to help you reach your academic, professional and personal goals by connecting you to the support you need on campus and in the community. The center is home to the college’s food pantry along with our Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team and on-site partners, including the Center for Driver’s License Recovery, FSET (Foodshare, Employment and Training), Legal Action of Wisconsin, Transitional Housing Assistance and the UWM Educational Opportunity Center.
FAST CARE (MEDICAL NON-EMERGENCY)
Students currently enrolled at MATC can be treated for nonemergency minor illness and injuries.
DENTAL CLINIC
Services offered include a range of preventive care including cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatments and sealant applications.
