THE TRADWIFE MOVEMENT BLENDS vintage aesthetics with conservative ideals, promoting a return to traditional gender roles. Some women claim it is empowering, while others argue it reinforces patriarchal norms under the guise of choice. This artwork places Marilyn Monroe in a hyper-feminine kitchen, echoing 1950s ideals with a modern tradwife twist. I chose pink and green as the central colors for this piece, reinforcing the stereotypical color choice of females. Surrounded by pink and submissive domestic quotes, it critiques the romanticization of female domesticity, revealing how glamour is often used to mask control.
Accommodations level the playing field rather than give students unfair advantages. I used wobbly and crooked lines to visually represent the flawed and uneven reality that equity in education has yet to be fully achieved. Color choices are grayish/based on Morandi's palette. For the characters' motions, the little boy turning his head and looking at his sister symbolizes the joy and gratification that fair access brings to individuals.
President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are sitting on sofas with wires extending out of their backs, plugging into the throne where Elon Musk sits. Musk shares similar ideas about reshaping democracy into an oligarchy ruled by corporate leaders as the famous tech “broligarch,” Peter Thiel, here in Kritzer’s op-ed. The overlapping of tabs and web page background indicates the media and government agencies, serving as a form of tropes, that were affected by the decision-makers.

Protesters filled the streets of Seoul as people gathered to demand the removal of President Yoon Suk Yeol. When I was going through the inspirational pictures online, I was certainly shocked by the unified protest signs that the protestors had. With the context, I tried to replicate the same deterrent as the protestors' message by translating and understanding the words on their signs beforehand, then drawing and integrating sharp and thin lines that represent the intensity behind this incident.
Trump will be the second president in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms after President Grover Cleveland in 1893, as well as the first convicted felon and oldest person to be elected president. As one of the people witnessing Donald John Trump reclaim the presidency, I obscure the background and only isolate the signs saying "TRUMP WILL FIX IT," which underscores his support from the people and his aim in this election.
