About me:

I am an 18 year old seni0r at the Masters School and will be attending the American University next fall studying journalism. 

Throughout my four years working on my school's newspaper, I have published 62 stories. This portfolio highlights my strongest work in the realm of multimedia. Here you can see my skills in writing, reporting, website and story design and even live play by play basketball commentary. 

I make use of all the tools I have in order to make the most engaging story I possibly can. I do this because I know that in this day and age of digital media, it's just not enough to be a strong writer and reporter. No matter how excellent my story is, or how important it may be, without engaging multimedia and design elements, it's automatically less likely to be read. And that is the main lesson I've learned in preparing myself to be a strong 21st century journalist. 

I believe that my work and contributions have made an impact in my local and school community by providing accurate news and interesting feature coverage.
