Biography Video Project

With this project, students learn how to report as a news anchor on a topic they know best (themselves!), work with a film crew to record their segment on our TV Studio's green screen, and edit a completed news package!

Independent Video Project

Students become independent creators of quality video productions while working on this project. They follow the three steps of the filmmaking process:

• Pre Production (brainstorming and developing an idea, planning how to execute the video, meeting deadlines for check-ins, and deciding who and where to film)

• Production (filming techniques, elements of composition, and framing a shot)

• Post Production (editing, adding effects, and sound mixing)

They operate as the director, cameraman, producer, editor, actor, etc.
