Meet the Teacher

About me:

Welcome to 6th Grade Learning Support! My name is Mr. Lawson and I am really looking forward to having a great 6th grade year! I hope to build positive student relationships and enjoy the fun memories this year of school has to offer! 

I am born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. I am actually a graduate of MaST Community Charter School! I graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am currently in the process of completing my Masters of Special Education at Arcadia University. The past 2 school years, I worked here at MaST in 7th grade!  This will be my third year working at MaST, and fifth year coaching baseball at MaST! 

If you know me, you know I am the biggest Phillies fan around! I love the sport of baseball, though I enjoy watching the Eagles, Sixers, and Flyers as well. I have coached highschool baseball at MaST for 5 years now! I enjoy eating Chick-Fil-A, watching baseball, playing video games, spending time down the shore, and playing with my dog Sugar!
