INFORMATION FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE POSTED IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
The Vocational Intern Partnership Program’s purpose is to provide experience to current high school students on the skills and demands of the apprenticeship programs offered at the FTI: drywall finishing, glazing, painting, and paper hanging. It is used as a stepping stone for students to progress from the classroom to potential apprentices and industrial workers.
Participating students attend the FTI once a week for 15 weeks, and can participate for as long as their entire junior and senior years. Students will be excused from MaST for the day. The cost of the program is covered by MaST and will be FREE for students! Students can receive certifications in OSHA and First Aid and earn college credits. Daily lunch and uniform are included. The spring 2023 session will begin on Wednesday, February 15, and will be held each Wednesday from 8:30 am-2 pm.
The Finishing Trades Institute is located at 2190 Hornig Road (across the street from MaST III).
