We provide daily informative social media posts educating individuals on substance abuse, mental health, and self improvement.

I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful HOSA Mental Health campaign in what I believe is an amazing way to educate our youth with our knowledge on substance abuse.Substance abuse is a day to day basis. I am very passionate about making a difference not only in our youth but in our society. No one is alone in this; we want people's voices to be heard. I believe that addiction is not just a personal struggle; it’s a community issue that affects families, friendships, and futures.This campaign is more than just spreading awareness—it’s about breaking the stigma, offering resources, and showing those struggling that they are not alone. ABOUT MS. GARCIA
Ms. Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, with 11 years of experience helping individuals navigate stress, anxiety, addiction, family conflicts, and more. As a Mental Health Coordinator for the Department of Mental Health Services, she supports school sites in the South region, providing compassionate care to students.
Substance use prevention is deeply personal to Ms. Garcia, as she has witnessed firsthand the impact of addiction on loved ones. She believes addiction is a complex mental health issue that requires understanding, not judgment. Adolescence is a crucial stage of development, and she is dedicated to empowering youth with the tools to manage stress, build resilience, and make informed choices about substance use.
She is honored to support "Above the Influence" and its mission to educate and inspire students, ensuring they recognize the long-term effects of substance use and make healthier choices for a brighter future.

Meet Ms. Pickarski, our Mental Health Counselor and Mental Health Coordinator for the HOSA "Above the Influence" Campaign. With a deep commitment to helping students overcome substance abuse and mental health challenges, she provides guidance, coping strategies, and support to those in need.
As a trusted counselor, Ms. Pickarski offers one-on-one encouragement and a safe space for students to seek help, whether they’re struggling with addiction, stress, or emotional challenges. She plays a crucial role in ensuring that students have access to the right resources and strategies to make healthy choices and build resilience.
Her compassionate approach and expertise help students navigate difficult situations, develop self-awareness, and break free from negative cycles. With her support, the "Above the Influence" campaign continues to empower students to take control of their well-being and make positive, lasting changes.
