High School Social Studies

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

My name is Chris Voroscak, and I am excited to begin my fifth year teaching at MaST Community Charter School. History has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy helping students explore how the past continues to shape the world we live in today.

Throughout the year, students will examine the people, events, and ideas that transformed the modern world while developing skills in historical thinking, source analysis, discussion, and evidence-based writing. My goal is for students to leave class with a deeper understanding of history and the ability to think critically about the world around them.

Course resources, assignments, announcements, and calendars will be available through Google Classroom throughout the year.
