As per the Mast 3 guidelines, cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the classroom. Students will place their cell phones and iPads in their lockers each morning. Students will not be allowed to check their phone, answer calls/texts, or submit assignments on their cell phones/iPads. Students must come prepared with their chromebook and charger to complete any activities during the day.
Students are expected to come to class each day prepared to learn. This includes:
Having the correct supplies
Staying awake
Participating
Being respectful to others & the classroom environment
Repeated offenses will result in disciplinary action.
Plagiarism is the act of using another person’s ideas or expressions in your writing without acknowledging the source. Plagiarism, (or intellectual theft) includes “the reproduction, in whole or essential part, of a literary, artistic, or musical work by one who falsely claims to be its creator.” Encyclopedia Americana, 2003. “The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.”
Plagiarism will NOT be tolerated under any circumstance.
This includes copying off of another’s students paper, using any type of AI/Chatgpt, googling answers, or submitting any work that is not 100% your own work/thoughts.
