Modern Band

Modern Band is a program for students in Grades 7 and up, focused on teaching students the skills to organize their own garage band style ensemble.

Students participating in Modern Band should have a high level of proficiency in their instrument, and are expected to learn 2-3 songs each quarter. (Students looking to learn an instrument should sign up through Orchestra or Guitar Group instead!)

Last year's Modern Bands performed at school functions like the Talent Show and Block Party. We will continue to look for opportunities to showcase these groups going forward!
