Hello Parents/Guardians,
Yesterday in class, students were given a textbook reading and began working on the accompanying questions during the period.
Both the reading and the question sheet are posted on Google Classroom so students can easily access everything they need.
The assignment will be due on Friday. Please encourage your child to finish the questions on time, and feel free to reach out if they have any trouble accessing the materials.
All daily assignments can be found on Google Classroom, and updates about tests, projects, and due dates will be relayed through the TalkingPoints app.
Hello, students and parents! My name is Mr. Cunnane, and I am excited to be your 7th grade social studies teacher this year. I am thrilled to bring my passion for history and learning to the classroom, and I look forward to sharing that excitement with all of you!
I’ve had a lifelong love of history—ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the past and how it shapes the present. This passion led me to pursue a degree in history, and I’m excited to be teaching it today. Whether we’re exploring ancient civilizations or more recent historical events, I hope to make history come alive for my students!
Education and Background:
I grew up in Glenside, Pennsylvania, and I’m proud to call this community home. I attended Chestnut Hill College, where I earned my degree in history. During my time there, I had the opportunity to learn from some incredible educators, and I can't wait to bring that knowledge and enthusiasm into the classroom this year.
Personal Interests:
Outside of the classroom, I’m a huge fan of baseball—there’s nothing like spending a day at the ballpark, watching the game, and enjoying the atmosphere.
