Students will still be assessed at their grade level standards but the assesments will be modified to their specific abilities. 

Example; a 4th grader who's reading level is early 3rd grade will be graded on using this 4th grade ELA: 

• CC.1.2.4.A Determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text.

The assessment given will use a text that is on the 3rd grade reading level. 

Homework is a part of each student's grade. Homework will be given in a packet at the start of each week and will be due the following Monday. Students can always turn in the packet when they are finished. Assignments in the packet will consist of activities to review old skills as well as the new skills from class.
