Homework

Homework is meant to reinforce what we learn in class and help students build responsibility. Assignments will be purposeful, manageable, and should take about 30–40 minutes each night, Monday through Thursday.

• Expectations: Students are expected to complete homework neatly and on time.

• Late Work: If homework is not completed, students will have the chance to finish it the next day.

• Parent Role: Parents are encouraged to provide a quiet space and support, but the work should be the student’s own.

• Reading: In addition to assignments, students are expected to read 20 minutes every night.

Our goal is to practice skills, build independence, and prepare for future learning.
