Meet your Teacher

Hello,

My name is Ms. Rivera. I will be the Math teacher for the students in 7th Grade.

This is my fourth year teaching at MaST II, and my 16th year teaching overall. I started out teaching as a building substitute, and have taught in every grade from Pre-K to 8th grade. 

I am a mother of 2, my son is 13 and my daughter is 5. I enjoy spending as much time with them whether it is taking my son to his practices/ games, or playing pretend with my daughter. I am my son's loudest cheerer as well as his biggest supporter in all of his interests. My daughter and I enjoy singing, reading books and learning new things. 

Some of my other interest include sports, music, and amusement parks. Growing up I enjoyed playing sports. My main sport being volleyball, which I played from middle school to college. I enjoy going camping and being outdoors. 

I am looking forward to this school year, and getting to know the students.
