Meet the Teacher 

Hi Everyone! My name is Peyton Salmi, and I am so excited to be part of the MaST community!

I graduated from Temple University in 2023 with a degree in Public Relations and Communications (Go Birds!). After discovering my passion for education and working with students, I decided to return to school to pursue a career in teaching. I earned my master’s degree in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University.

My background in communications has strengthened my writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a particular strength in English Language Arts and writing. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in their reading and writing abilities and discover their own strengths as learners. My decision to pursue teaching was driven by my desire to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives and create a classroom environment where they feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time outdoors. Whether it’s relaxing at the beach or the mountains, I enjoy taking my two dogs, Gigi and Coco, for walks, hiking, and discovering new places whenever I can. I also enjoy watching the EAGLES!
