Welcome to 6th grade —I am so excited to have you in 602 this year!

This is a big step in your journey as a student, and I know it’s going to be full of exciting challenges, new friendships, and lots of learning. Sixth grade is a time to grow not just academically, but also as a leader, a member of our classroom community, and a creative thinker. Whether you’re already excited or feeling a little nervous, know that you’re not alone — I will be here to support you every step of the way.

In 6th grade, you’ll dive deeper into reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. You’ll also have opportunities to explore your interests in new ways — through projects, group work, and some fun field trips!

Most importantly, you’ll be part of a classroom and school community that cares about each other. We as a community believe in kindness, effort, and curiosity — and we believe in each other.

So get ready for a great year ahead. Come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You're going to do amazing things!
