A LITTLE ABOUT ME :)

My Name is Desiree McGroarty and this is my 4th year teaching science here at MAST2

I have 2 son's my 1st son graduated from Mast Byberry June of 2023 and my 2nd son just started 8th grade at Mast Byberry

I attended Everglades University in Boca Raton and have my Bachelors in Holistic and Alternative Medicine. 

And I have my masters in Public Health with a concentration in Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

I am currently enrolled for my Masters in Special Education at Arcadia University.

I enjoy hanging with my family and my two pittbulls, we love to take hikes and spend time in the woods getting grounded in nature and exploring all of the living organisms that help the planet thrive. I have a garden of my own that I love to work in.

Longwood Gardens is one of my favorite places and I cant wait until our field trip day to explore it with all of you.
