Hello! I am Mr. McCarthy and I am going to be your 7th Grade Literature & Composition teacher this school year! I am very excited and I cannot wait to embark on this journey with all of you! This will be my fifth year being at MaST II! I started as an RTII Instructional Support Specialist working with grades 3-6 and 9. This year will be my fourth year teaching 7th Grade.

I went to Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for college. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in English in 2017 and I received my Teaching Certification in 2018.

I love reading, journaling, going on walks/runs, being in nature, painting, and being creative! I also cannot go without my daily coffee or frequent Target/Bath & Body Works trips!
