A Message from Your Teacher

Welcome to your first year in middle school!  What an exciting time for you!  I am overjoyed that you are a part of my class, and I look forward to meeting you!  

I have been a part of the MaST Byberry family for five years now, but this school year marks my 21st year of teaching!  I am still in shock that it's been that long! I can still remember my first year of teaching in another sixth grade classroom all those years ago, and I love that I have found my way back to this grade level!  This is the BEST age group, and each of you make the days interesting,  fun, and memorable!  

When you can't find me in the halls of MaST, I am home spending time with my husband and our three children--and let me tell you, our schedule is BUSY!  Also, I enjoy trying new things, visiting new places, socializing with family and friends, and embracing all things FALL!  Stay tuned for more specific details about me as we all share about ourselves soon!

Although summer is coming to an end and work is around the corner, we can make the best of it by giving our best each day! So, set your mind to POSITIVE mode, and let's get started on this exciting journey together!  Bring on the 2023-2024 school year!
