Hello!
My name is Caitlin Armstrong.
This will be my seventh year teaching at MaST2.
I started in 2nd grade in 2019, went to 4th grade in 2021, was in 5th grade last year, and transitioned to 8th grade this year.
This is my 12th year as a teacher.
I am SO excited to see what this year brings!
A few fun facts about me...
🐞 My favorite insect is a ladybug. I even have a ladybug tattoo!
🏰 I graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Special Education. December 2022 I graduated with my Masters in Integrative STEM Education. Lastly, I am an adjunct professor at Arcadia teaching new teachers the joy of STEM Education.
🐶 I have a dog, named Zoey. She is a complete cuddle bug and loves to give kisses!
🦎 I have a class pet of a leopard gecko. His name is Pinky and he is very cute!
🏈️⚽️🏀⚾️🏒 I love ALL Philly sports and will continue to support them, even if they aren't always the greatest...
🧳️ I love traveling and visiting other states and countries. I have been to England, Scotland, Germany, and Italy. I take a yearly trip out to Colorado to visit with family and hike the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Forest.
☕️ I am slightly obsessed with iced coffee and cold brew. I will always have a coffee in my hand every morning.
🍫 I have a bit of a sweet tooth and love candy and chocolate! My favorite candies are Twix, Starburst, and anything mint, dark chocolate, and salted caramel.
🎬 Lilo and Stitch is my favorite Disney movie, specifically Stitch! I have many items that have Stitch on them.
