Know your region: look at a map and identify nearby school districts, or reach out to Mass Council and ask them to help identify school districts and contacts in your area.
Invite K–12 teachers from those districts to gauge their interest in getting involved.
Set up a Google Form for interested teachers to fill out to establish a database of contacts.
Offer possible kick-off dates and times to arrange an iniitial meeting. Use the survey to learn what's everyone's availability is.
If you prefer an in-person meeting, some councils meet somewhere netural and outside school distrcits like at a restaurant or food/drinking establishment. Reaching out to possible sponsors or vendors, such as a textbook publishing company or educational software company. Offer them some time to present or talk about their products and services.
