Welcome to 7th graders to Keyboarding and 8th graders to Computer Concepts.  

Little about myself:  I graduated from University of KY with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught 2nd grade out of college back home in Elizabethtown, KY.  After moving to Paducah, KY, I began teaching at MJHS and been here ever since.  During the early years at MJHS, I earned my Master's Degree in Reading and Writing then later earned my 30 hours above.  Over 20 years I taught Reading and Writing to both 7th and 8th graders, but later decided to teach keyboarding and computer concepts when a position became available.  My husband and I live in Marshall County, KY and own the Subway Restaurant in Calvert City, KY.  My daughter graduated from  Murray State University and played  on the MSU Softball team.  She recently got married and now live in Cincinnati, OH.

My son moved to Los Angeles, CA a couple years ago (this mama is sad) to gain hands on experience in film and media.   

I am sure I probably taught some of the parents reading this right now and looking forward to this year. We will make it through together.  Parents - Thanks for trusting me with your son or daughter.
