2nd Grade Responsibility  Plan

Responsible choices are critical throughout life to be successful. We will operate as a responsible classroom in 2nd grade. The following plan will be used for the 2026-2027 school year(subject to change as needed).  All students should behave appropriately and do their best to meet expectations.  Choices by a student that disrupt learning or jeopardizes the safety of others will not be tolerated. 

All students can be responsible for their behavior choices!

Responsible  Behavior

Our goal in 2nd grade is to be RESPONSIBLE  in everything we do, while using kindness as a guide for all choices!  

Students should: 

Be RESPONSIBLE for their behavior.  

Be RESPONSIBLE for their work habits.  

Be RESPONSIBLE for how they treat each other.

Finally, ALWAYS be KIND!  

A checkmark system will be used to indicate how we are managing kindness and responsibility.  The principal will send a letter about responsibility goals in our school.  The examples in that letter will not be an exhaustive list, but a guide.    

When a student receives a checkmark, the at home grownup will receive a message from me to report the circumstances of your child’s choices.
