My name is Patrick Eckelkamp, and I was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. Music has always been a part of my life. The power of music made such an impact on me growing up, I knew I wanted to teach others music. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Murray State University May 2018, where I received my Music Education degree. While studying music, I focused on percussion and played in numerous ensembles, ranging from marching band, to jazz, to percussion ensemble, and even the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. I was also the music teacher at Franklin and Jefferson Elementary schools for 2 years before moving to MCHS and MJHS.
I married my wife, Haley in June 2020, and we have a dog named Ollie. When I am not in the classroom, I like to write my own music, play music at my church, be outside, spend time with my family, and root for Cardinals baseball and Predators hockey!
