I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Wittig and I am honored to be the Visual Arts Instructor at MCHS. This is my 20th year of teaching, and First year at Massac County High School. I am a graduate of Massac County High School. I graduated from SIUC with a Bachelor of Science in Education and from McKendree University with a Masters of Arts in Administration. I am certified in k-12 Art, k-12 Special Education, Middle School education, Social Studies and as a Principal. I have most recently completed Post-Graduate courses towards an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I taught K-12 art at Joppa-Maple Grove for 12 years before transferring to Massac Unit 1. I have taught Art for Elementary Teachers as adjunt faculty at Shawnee Community College. .I then taught art at Jefferson, Franklin, Unity and Brookport. Most recently I taught Self-contained Special Education for four years at Massac Junior High School. I currently reside in rural Massac County.
