My name is Cory Hastings. I began teaching in Massac Unit 1 in 2018. I am a father, husband, referee, umpire, traveler, runner, coach and sports lover. I graduated from Pinckneyville Community High School in 2009. I attended Southern Illinois University and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Education, in the area of Physical Education and am pursuing my Masters in Education from Eastern Illinois University. 

My wife, Courtney, and I have been married since 2018. We welcomed our daughter Camryn into the world in July of 2021 and our son Cade April of 2023. In my spare time I am either traveling, officiating sports, or getting a few miles in on my next run.
