Join the Band!

After a student completes the Google Form below, a band director will contact you via email to set up a time to try instruments. 

This process is imperative, because it helps students to select an instrument that both matches their interest and what will be easiest for them to catch up on, while also keeping in mind balance of the current band instrumentation.

Students must supply their own instrument. This can be acquired through an instrument rental from a local music company.

Once a student has selected their instrument with a band director, rental information is shared with parents. The monthly rental fee paid to the music company is applied to the purchase of the instrument.

School instrument rentals are also available for Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Horn, Euphonium, and Tuba.

Since students will be joining band after 1-2 years of instruction, Private Lessons during the Spring/Summer of the prior school year are the BEST way for students to be setup for success in band class. Otherwise, students can become overwhelmed or discouraged.

A private lesson is a 30 minute lesson once a week with a specialist on the instrument students select.
