The MI 5th Grade MATHCOUNTS club is a fun, competition based club for 5th graders interested in math. It is similar to the official 6th grade MATHCOUNTS club, but on a smaller scale. The official MATHCOUNTS organization does not allow 5th graders to participate in the national, state and regional competitions, so this provides an opportunity for 5th grade students to take part in fun math competitions with their classmates in a similar fashion to the official 6th grade MATHCOUNTS club.
