With COVID-19 prevention plans underway, many parents, guardians, and caregivers are asking about what they can do to support student learning at home. This site is intended to help give you tips, tools, and ideas to maintain learning momentum as we begin the transition to a more formal Remote Learning Experience. These tools are optional.
Week 1 (March 16-20) - Students engage in their interests and curiosities using resources from this site or other resources that may be available to you. This gives our teachers time to build meaningful Remote Learning Experiences and learn how to use new tools to support remote learning. Keep the Learning Momentum going! We understand that this may look very different from household to household.
Week 2 (March 23-27) - Spring Break. No school is expected. Please feel free to use resources from this site to add extended learning opportunities.
Week 3 (March 30 - April 3) - Teachers will continue planning and begin testing Remote Learning Experiences. Families will receive more information about how to access remote learning tools by engaging with ungraded lessons that review or enrich previously taught content, setting up future checkpoints, and making sure everything is running smoothly before fully implementing new lessons. Feel free to continue to use this site as desired.
*If necessary* Week 4 and Beyond (April 6-??) - If school buildings are still closed, school is in session with Remote Learning Experiences provided by teachers. Please feel free to continue using this site as desired.
