• Up to 30 members 

• No official skill requirements, but standing tuck preferred. 

• Emphasis on sharp motions and crowd engagement.

• 2 practices per week

• Summer UCA camp July 10th - 13th is required for all members

• Will attend 3-4 local competitions as well as OHSAA states.

  • Travel within Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Northern Kentucky area.

• Will attend NHSCC (nationals) in the beginning of February (dependent on receiving a bid)

• Required tumbling skills : standing 3 bhs, 3 jumps to bhs, round off tuck, round off handspring tuck, cartwheel tuck. 

• Emphasis on athleticism, stunts, jumps, tumbling, and ability to lead crowd.

Note About Competition Teams: 

• You must be a member of an MHS sideline cheer team in order to tryout for either competition teams.

• The competition program is financially separate from the sideline program. Your sideline fees and your competition fees are completely separate. You are financially obligated to both programs should you choose to participate in both.

• This is a highly competitive, national caliber program. Please ensure you understand the commitment and skill level required prior to trying out.
