The MASH Online Learning Lab (OLL) is a resource designed to support our part-time virtual learners.
All students enrolled in an online course will attend the lab for the first three six-day cycles for on-boarding.
On-boarding will include:
An overview of course features
Expectations in and outside of the lab
Planning and pacing support
Good study habits
At the end of the three cycles, students will be excused from the lab if they are on track. On track is defined as:
On pace or ahead with the target deadlines
No more than 10 assignments behind in any one course or overall (multiple courses)
5-10 assignments behind and actively working to catch up
Course grades 69.5% or above
Once excused from the lab, students will still be supported in their online learning courses by our online learning lab teacher, Mrs. Rouner. Students and guardians should regularly check their email, as this will be the first line of communication. Mrs. Rouner will send bi-weekly progress emails. Students falling significantly off track may be scheduled for a consultation with Mrs. Rouner and/or administration.
